Even when you think the God of the universe couldn’t love someone like you, He shows up.
Even when you think that things in your past are too great to deserve the forgiveness of the Mighty King, He still shows you mercy.
Even if you feel like an outsider because you were never one of God’s people, He gathers you in His arms of protection.
Through your faithfulness, you will see His.

Ruth was not born amongst God’s people. In fact, this Moabitess came from a land filled with pagan gods, idolatry, immorality, and who knows what else. Yet, when she chooses to follow Naomi – when she chooses God over her past, we see her transform into the child of God she was called to be.
Boaz, relative of Naomi, has heard of Ruth’s kindness and loyalty and for that he finds favor on her, much like God funds favor on us.
Your past doesn’t matter to God, but your faithfulness does. For it is your faith that will save you. 💕
